Wine Information

Grown in a terraced vineyard full of diversity. Cultivated entirely by hand without tractors. Harvested by hand. Three vintages, fermented on the skins, unfiltered.

Colour/Appearance

Cloudy apricot/fine mousse.

Nose

The 2018-20 Riesling 190 NN (Nakt) makes a statement even on the nose; it doesn’t seem “naked” at all, but rather very intense and expressive, almost shimmering. Its pronounced yeast aroma is accompanied by vineyard peach, elderflower, elderwood, and hibiscus. Citrus, citrus zest, and ginger contribute freshness, along with fine malty notes, hints of rooibos tea, and light, fine tobacco. You can hardly wait to taste it.

Palate

On the tongue, it sparkles lightly and refreshes with a carpet of yeast and bright fruits. You’re tempted to empty the bottle right away, it’s so stimulating to drink: plenty of freshness, plenty of grip, plenty of depth. A great food companion!
