Vineyard Information

Ferus is a single-vineyard cuvée with grapes from the best vineyards of Reiterpfad, Mäushöhle, Herrgottsacker, and an old parcel from 1982 in the Ruppertsberger Nussbien.

Colour

Shimmering lemon yellow with distinct green reflections.

Nose

The 2021 Ferus is characterized by a distinctive, smoky minerality that overlays its extremely fresh aromas of green apple, lime, and citrus. Also present are the herbal notes of basil, lemon balm, and ginger, further emphasizing its freshness. Its still youthful and impetuous aroma unfolds perfectly when poured vigorously into the carafe.

Palate

Its palate is cool and precise, the acidity present and invigorating, a wine that plays with the taster and pairs wonderfully with fresh and invigorating cuisine. Such wines are perfect in summer, and in autumn and winter, they bring back that summer feeling. Incredibly good value for money!
