Wine Information

Carignan, Grenache Noir, and Grenache Gris from vines up to 100 years old. Initially fermented in carbonic maceration with whole bunches, then fermented for three weeks in concrete vats and then aged for nine months in old demi-muids.

Colour

Bright, fairly transparent cherry red.

Nose

Tattouine Rouge is a fruity, tart, fresh red wine reminiscent of red apples with their skins, peaches, and red berries. Added to this are notes of undergrowth, herbs, and a drop of amaro.

Palate

On the palate, the 2023 Tattouine Rouge is acidic, fresh, salty, juicy, light, and powerful. The tannins present provide a grippy texture and gently rub across the palate. The wine is lively and agile, with a herbaceous tartness, and awakens the spirits with its tart red berry and sour cherry notes. It’s immensely juicy right up to the finish.
