Wine Information

The Armeniers cultivate their 2 hectares of Côtes du Rhône vineyards, with alluvial and clay soils, with the same care as the Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyards. They, too, have been certified organic for 30 years. After hand-harvesting the Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, the wines were aged in concrete tanks.

Colour

Violet-red, almost dense to the rim.

Nose

The 2021 Côtes du Rhône from Domaine de Marcoux smells of sour cherries, dark berries, plums, rosemary, and thyme. The floral scent of roses, fresh raspberries, and violets lends it a feminine touch. A truly elegant and invigorating opening.

Palate

The juicy fruit combines with mineral finesse, a fresh acidity that’s well integrated with the fruit, and a smooth tannin. A wonderful drinking wine and excellent food companion, its liveliness makes it a perfect accompaniment to Mediterranean dishes. The high alcohol content is never noticeable; quite the opposite: this wine captivates with its juiciness and elegant lightness.
