Product description for Lesuffleur Cerqueux Poiré 2019

Benoit Lesuffleur’s family has been involved in apple growing for 50 years, but at that time the harvest was sold to major cider producers. During and after his studies in Paris, Benoit worked as a wine broker for well-known producers in Burgundy. The decisive impetus for converting his family’s business came from a collaboration with the Tarlant Champagne house. His idea was to produce top-quality cider using the Méthode Champenoise. Consequently, not only is the method of secondary fermentation in the bottle the same, but the entire production process, from apple cultivation, selection, and vinification, is of a similarly high standard to what we expect from our top producers.
