Wine Information

Biodynamically cultivated, 15-70 year-old vines grow at an altitude of 550 to 650 m on granite and sand. After hand-harvesting, the wine is fermented in steel tanks with wild yeasts and then aged for 7 months in French barriques and foudres. Bottling takes place without filtration or stabilization. The production volume amounts to 22,610 bottles.

Colour

Muted purple with slight lightening towards the rim.

Nose

The aroma of the 2021 El Corralón enchants with plum jam, cinnamon, milk chocolate, and pickled cherries. The skillful use of wood beautifully captures the fruity aromas. A seductive sweetness seems omnipresent; you want to immediately immerse yourself in this wonderful wine and look forward to the first sip!

Palate

Juicy and sweet fruit flows across the tongue, the invigorating acidity and tannin structure refreshing, and immediately craves the next sip. An elegant and extremely harmonious red wine that will develop even more beautifully with further aging. Those who want to enjoy it in its youthful stage are advised to decant it a few hours in advance.
