Description
Product description for Heinrich Pinot Freyheit 2023 (bio)
Info from the winemaker
Grown on mica schist and limestone under biodynamic cultivation.
Vinification
Manual harvest in early September, spontaneous fermentation of 70% whole grapes on the skins. Aged for over a year with natural yeast in amphorae.
Color
Translucent light red.
Nose
The 2023 Pinot Freyheit L has an enchanting aroma of light berries and sweet cherries, blended with wild herbs such as mint, boxwood, paprika, ivy, and even a hint of forest floor. Clearly recognizable spice notes of allspice, juniper, cinnamon, and a hint of incense. It practically floats out of the glass, creating an ethereal and mystical impression.
Palate
On the tongue, it unfolds with refreshing acidity, delicate fruit sweetness, and a polished tannin structure. It appears incredibly lively, even dance-like and seductive, further enhanced by the moderate alcohol content of 12.5%. A wine full of freedom for dreaming and meditating.
