At the Franz Keller winery, the third generation, Friedrich Keller, has been in the starting blocks for some time now. In recent years, Friedrich and his father Fritz have managed the winery together and made decisions, and Friedrich is increasingly taking over the reins. He is a winemaker through and through and lives and breathes wine. He now wants to take the Franz Keller winery to the next level. His father Fritz also based the winery on natural principles. Friedrich is now converting completely to organic farming and is slowly embracing biodynamic aspects. Quality has been improved in recent years, and now the next step is being taken here too, divesting itself of lesser-known sites, reducing the area and streamlining the product range.
