A composition of 50% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, and 10% Meunier.
Colour
Light golden yellow
Nose
The classic Brut from De Sousa opens with the scent of citrus fruits and almonds, mingled with a light note of fermented Boskop. As the champagne gains more aeration, it becomes more yellow-fruity, revealing chalky notes overlaid with a hint of jasmine.
Palate
On the palate, the Tradition Brut is immediately present and powerful; the fruit is bright and clear with creamy notes. These are reminiscent of lemon meringue, wine foam, white peach, nectarine, apple, and citrus. The seven grams of dosage are not noticeable, the champagne appears dry and the dosage balances the champagne until the mineral finish.
