Nose

Il Corzanello Rosato has a wonderfully youthful aroma. It is early October, and the wine is still clearly alive with the nuances of fermentation and thus plenty of yeast. This quickly develops into almond aromas. Fresh chopped almonds and blossom spread in the glass. Behind this lies a hint of rose and orange blossom. The oranges come into their own, from zest to juice. Strawberry, raspberry, and sour cherry provide the necessary fruit. Red fruit tea plays a leading role in the background. There are also Mediterranean accents such as garrigue, dried thyme, and pine.

Palate

On the palate, it delivers everything it promises. Light and racy. Fruity, but not overt. Restrained fruit, but a drinkable flow based on bitterness. It’s precisely these bitternesses that are so important and often overlooked. Its fruit blends beautifully without remaining hidden. The bitterness evokes green almonds and olives in the aftertaste. Its floral and Mediterranean side dominates the finish. The yeast still adds a touch of mellowness at this young stage. This will subside, however. Then its juicy core remains. Full of expression, yet simply a brilliant wine for every day.
