Nose

The 2020 Riesling Marienburg Erste Lage “Raffes” smells of Boskop apple, vineyard peach, apricot, lemon peel, a meadow full of blossoms and herbs, and honey, complemented by delicate malty notes. Brilliant and powerful, it grabs you right from the nose; a wine with depth and full expression.

Palate

It floods the palate with pure juiciness, juicy fruit meets fruity sweetness and spicy tannins. Salty, mineral, and pleasantly challenging with a long finish that points to its great aging potential. A Riesling feat with which Clemens Busch once again shows us where his hammer hangs.
