Info

The Trebbiano vines for this skin-fermented wine from Francesco Cirelli grow on limestone and clay soils. The harvest took place in early September; the grapes were completely destemmed, and the berries were then macerated in tanks for 30 days. Alcoholic fermentation also takes place here. The must, now wine, is then separated from the skins and gently pressed. After racking, the wine rests for four months before bottling.

Colour

Bright orange with golden and light inclusions.

Nose

Loud, floral, and tart-fruity, Francesco Cirelli’s orange opens the wine with notes of white and red currants, elderberries, and strawberries. A hint of raspberry, too. Elderflower and the syrup produced from it complement the fruit perfectly. Apple and orange blossoms are also evident. Orange zest and tangerine skin add a tart yet fresh touch. Hints of white pepper round it out.

Palate

On the palate, it reveals itself as balanced and moderated, its distinctive characteristics blending into a collective. It thrives on both bitterness and fruit. While the fruit only experiences moderate acidity, it reveals a certain coreness. It is not overly complex and, for its style, very moderate on the mash. The floral nuances are convincing, lending it a very elegant finish.
