Wine Information

This cuvée reflects the specific character of the Béru hills. It is a blend of the domaine’s various northern-facing plots, which boast a strong presence of Kimmeridge limestone in the soil. Long aging on the fine lees in vats and barrels underlines the purity of the expression of the place where it grew.

Medium golden yellow with delicate green reflections.

Nose

The 2022 Chablis “Terroirs de Béru” displays delicate yet profound and mineral aromas. Apple, pear, and apricot pair with delicate toasted notes of almonds and distinct hints of mussel shells and sea breeze.

Palate

On the palate, it is extremely elegant and refreshing with its delicate fruit and stimulating acidity. At the same time, it captivates with its wonderful juiciness and a stimulating salty note. The perfect accompaniment to fish and seafood!

The 2022 Chablis Terroirs de Béru has been opened one day before in order to allow it to open, is partly fermented in wooden foudres but mostly in stainless steel. It has an aromatic nose: dried honey and dried fig, beeswax and light seaweed scents. The palate is fresh and saline with fine weight and vivacity. Lovely bitterness here, a wine that will really come alive at the dinner table. Excellent.
