Wine Information

The grapes come from the historic Valpolicella Classico zones of Marano and Fumane and grow on limestone. They were fermented with wild yeasts.

Color

Deep, dark cherry red; black at the core with minimal lightening towards the rim.

Nose

The 2018 Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico presents itself with incredible intensity on the nose. Sweet black cherries, pickled cranberries, blueberry compote, and prunes combine with liquid dark chocolate, cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla, and marzipan. This impressive aroma is accompanied by scents reminiscent of musk and lavender.

Palate

On the palate, it practically floods the tongue with dense fruit, fruit sweetness, and aromas of dried fruit and chocolate.
