Wine Information

This champagne is a 100% Blanc de Blancs Chardonnay from Troissy. The soils there are characterized by chalk, sand, limestone, marl, clay, and carbonate rock. Brown clay predominates. The dosage is 2.4 grams. Tirage took place on April 1, 2020, and disgorgement in February 2023.

Colour

Medium straw yellow with lively perlage.

Nose

From the very beginning, the “Aria” brings the typical character of a Blanc de Blancs to the nose. It smells of limequat, lemon, and grapefruit, lemon curd, bread crust, grated hazelnut, and almond. The autolytic notes, such as brioche, are still quite subtle in the background, along with stony notes.

Palate

On the palate, the “Aria” delivers a pleasant punch. The citrus components all reappear here, accompanied by a lively acidity and lively perlage. The champagne appears dry with a slight grip on the palate. In the background, one has the feeling that a small piece of white nougat has been soaked in lemon juice, creating a tasty combination. The champagne finishes dry and citrusy with a fine creaminess.
