Description
Product description for Albert Mann Riesling Furstentum Grand Cru 2019 (bio)
About the wine
A 30-year-old Riesling on limestone and limestone gravel in the Principality of Kientzheim.
Colour
Medium straw yellow
Nose
The nose of this Principality Grand Cru offers a delicate aroma of orange blossoms and linden blossoms, also a hint of pineapple and lemon, but above all, it exhibits stony and slightly earthy aspects. This still seems very restrained, but raises expectations.
Palate
On the palate, the Riesling is lively and salty. The light tannin is immediately noticeable, giving the wine grip and a pleasant texture. This is a silky, ripe yet zesty Riesling, combining the fruit of pineapple and ripe lemons with slightly tart aspects of orange peel and grapefruit. The finish is long, intensely aromatic, juicy and meaty.
