The Barthelmé and Mann families have been growing wine for almost 400 years. Today, the brothers Maurice and Jacky Barthelmé, along with their wives Marie-Claire and Marie-Thérèse, manage the family estate that has evolved from both estates. Their winery is located in the heart of Alsace, a few kilometers south of Colmar. From their five Grand Cru vineyards, the two likeable brothers conjure up inimitable, terroir-specific wines full of character that fully reveal the unique minerality of the diverse soil structures. Not only the classic white grape varieties of Alsace are vinified here, but also a truly sophisticated Crémant and great Pinot Noir. The red Burgundies, sourced from Grand Cru vineyards and aged in Burgundy barrels, are a house specialty that delights connoisseurs.

The soil consists of marl and some sandstone; the vineyard is characterized by freshness in youth and smoothness and maturity in old age.
