Nose

For an introduction to the world of Recaredo sparkling wines, the nose already offers a wealth of facets. Ripe yellow fruits such as khaki, apricot, and mirabelle plums. Lemon juice, grapefruit, and orange peel are added. A hint of sea spray and oyster shell spreads in the glass. Dried herbs such as tarragon and bay leaf slowly build up. Orange blossoms and jasmine tea hover quietly in the background.

Palate

The quality of the 2019 Relats from Recaredo is evident right from the first sip. As a Brut Nature, it is seductively dry, allowing the minerality to clearly emerge. Puristic and linear. The maritime and citrus aromas are particularly evident again. The mousse appears on the palate, but always remains restrained. The carbonation counteracts this dominant effect, leading sip by sip to a long finish. Sparse, lean, and intensely characterized by lime and chalk.
