Wine Information

Yellow Muscat from various Sulzfeld vineyards of the Upper Muschelkalk. Spontaneously fermented and aged in large wooden barrels with 5.8 g/l acidity and 3.8 g/l residual sugar.

Color

Bright medium straw yellow.

Nose

The 2024 Sulzfeld Yellow Muscat is once again a beguilingly fragrant wine, characterized primarily by hoppy notes. Added to this are elderflower and bergamot, a touch of nutmeg, kumquat, lemon peel, and a hint of apple and pear. It is an expressive, yet not overt, but lively aroma.

Palate

On the palate, the Yellow Muscat combines intense aromas with cool, herbal, and stony elements. Here, too, the wine is floral, fragrant, hoppy and also gentle in texture, with light phenolics, a pleasant acidity and a slightly sparkling minerality.
