Wine Information
A blend of Pinot Meunier and a little Pinot Noir from the vineyard of the same name, with 50-year-old vines in clayey, silty limestone marl. Made entirely in 2019, aged in stainless steel. Tirage took place in March 2020, and disgorgement with 7 grams of dosage was added in January 2024. 700 bottles.
Colour
Straw yellow with a hint of rosé and fine perlage.
Nose
The aroma of La Haut Cirriére is reminiscent of waxed lemon peel and tangerines, yellow plums and quince combined with meringue, a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon, graphite, almond blossoms, and violets.
Palate
On the palate, La Haute Cirrié is fruity and slightly waxy, with a light hint of woodruff. The champagne has a good structure, a fine punch, and a lively perlage. It coats the mouth with a light salinity, while a lively minerality is noticeable.
