The Vazart family has been growing wine in Chouilly since 1785. However, their first wines were not bottled until 1950 by Louis and Jacques Vazart. Since 1995, the winery has been managed by Jean-Pierre Vazart, who joined the Club Trésor de Champagne, one of the first associations of independent winemakers in Champagne, just one year later. The winery comprises 11 hectares, located entirely in Chouilly. Jean-Pierre maintains the aging process in stainless steel, including malolactic fermentation. The reserve wines come primarily from a solera that began in 1982 and which has since been used to produce its own champagne. The non-vintage champagnes reflect the typical style of the region. They are ideal aperitif champagnes with plenty of fruit, freshness, elegance, and harmony. The vintage champagnes are fuller, more powerful, and mineral with plenty of substance.
