The Grande Reserve is a selection of Zieregg’s best sweet wines made from raisined berries without botrytis, with a crystalline character and excellent balance. Matured in large wooden barrels.

Colour

Amber with a lime green rim.

Nose

The nose of the 2013 Sauvignon Blanc Grand Reserve Trockenbeerenauslese from the Tement winery is selflessly extravagant. A lush bouquet of dried Armenian apricots, dried fruits, and white peach jam. Laser-clear and polished, the brilliant fruit is spicy, underscored by light tobacco, milk chocolate, dark cocoa nibs, and a touch of honey and linseed oil.

Palate

On the palate, the TBA is surprisingly liquid and flows silkily over the palate with a medium viscosity. The distinctive fruity aromas on the nose are complemented by distinct mineral notes, which, like the salt in caramel, create the crazy tension in this nectar. A wine for now, later, and long beyond.
