The 2019 Le Grand Rouge de Revelette captivates with magnificent fruit, depth, and cool minerality: blackberries, sloe, sweet cassis, liquid, fine chocolate, wood smoke, and countless herbs such as rosemary and thyme, with distinct pepper and juniper. A wonderful entrée on the nose!

Palate

On the palate, it sits on the tongue with a mineral grip; the smooth fruit and delicate sweetness lend it great charm. Its tannin and acid structure contribute finesse and lend it great vibrancy, something it shares with all of Peter Fischer’s wines. A delight with braised dishes and grilled dishes, a wine that awakens the longing for the South of France, French cuisine and hospitality!
