This Sauvignon Blanc from 25-year-old vines comes from Extremadura. Bodegas Habla is one of the most renowned producers in this Spanish region on the border with Portugal. The vines for Habla de ti grow at an altitude of 450 meters in an extremely continental climate with dry, hot summer days and cooling nights. In fact, the name Extremadura means “extremely hard” in English, which says a lot about the climate. And yet the result is a very fresh and drinkable wine, aged in steel tanks and on the fine lees for several months.

The bouquet of tropical fruits and grassy, vegetal notes is typical of Sauvignon Blanc from a warmer climate, as is the case with this white wine. Overall, the nose is stimulatingly fresh and perfectly balanced.

Palate

The Habla de ti 2023 is a drinking wine in the best sense of the word: casual and easy to drink, but by no means boring, but rather with a distinctive character. The fruity impression from the nose continues on the palate, along with lively acidity and a silky texture that creates an invigorating mouthfeel. The white wine is medium-bodied, develops grip on the palate, and has a well-balanced and juicy finish of medium length.
