The grapes for this Langhe Nebbiolo come from a specially planted vineyard with so-called “fasce di rispetto”: rows bordering non-organic vineyards belonging to other producers. Balanced tannins and well-integrated acidity are the hallmarks of this Nebbiolo, which was aged for 14 months in second-use French barriques and then aged for a further two months in bottle.

Intense ruby red with brilliant reflections.

Nose

The nose of the 2022 Langhe Nebbiolo from Chiara Boschis, E. Pira & Figli is varietal and precise. The omnipresent dark cherry fruit is complemented by a spicy framing of sandalwood and earthy notes. Distinctive violets in the overtones garnish its rich, rich presentation, which deftly bridges the gap between two Barolos. With a subtle balsamic top note, it promises solid Nebbiolo enjoyment.
