His ancestors were winegrowers for four generations, but when Vincent Rochette inherited the vineyards in Buisson and Visan, he had the courage to start his own business, in 1998, with the Domaine Roche-Audran. He quickly realised how essential it was to contribute to the protection of the natural environment himself. He therefore converted the entire farm, which also includes olive and lavender fields, oak, and pine forests, initially to organic cultivation, but as early as 2006 to biodynamics. In the vineyards and cellar, he follows the cosmic rhythms in all his work. Through biodynamic work, he and his team promote the natural balance in the 35 hectares of vineyards, which is reflected in the common denominator of the wines. They combine intense fruit, full-bodiedness, finesse, and impressive persistence. The best terroirs of Buisson, Visan, and the excellent parcel in Châteauneuf-du-Pape add complexity and depth.
