The 2023 Wachenheimer Schlossberg Rieslaner Auslese is very clear and aromatic on the nose that indicates yellow and white tropical fruits such as papaya, mango and lychee intertwined with pastry notes. Lush and elegant on the palate, with savory mineral and phenolic grip, this is a (rather moderately) sweet Auslese with crystalline and stimulating saline acidity and ripe and lush pineapple flavors on the aftertaste. 11% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in October 2024.
