Viticulture has a long tradition around the town of Vittoria, where Arianna Occhipinti lives and cultivates her vines. At the foot of the Iblei mountains lies her winery “Fossa di Lupo” – the cave of the wolf. The grapes of the region, Frappato and Nero D’Avola, are her passion. Her greatest concern is to preserve the strength and harmony of the Nero D’Avola and the freshness and elegance of the Frappato. Arianna appreciates the ability of the two grape varieties to harmonise wonderfully with each other, although they are so different. She admires their strength and their ability to unite past and future. By the way, if you think Arianna and Giusto Occhipinti are related, you are absolutely right: Giusto is her uncle.
