Description
Domaine Les Bruyères is located in the heart of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation and currently comprises around 27 hectares of vineyards. They are characterised by clay and limestone terraces. 18.5 hectares are planted with Syrah, the rest are divided into Marsanne and Roussanne. In 2000, David Reynaud took over the management of the winery in the fourth generation. He left the Tain cooperative and converted to organic farming in the same year. In 2005, organic certification was followed by Biodyvin. His cellar is designed to use gravity. In addition to classic barrels and casks, there are more and more Nomblot concrete eggs in the cellar, which are used to age the white wines. The wines have a ripe, muscular, and fleshy style that has gained more and more finesse in recent years, with the texture in particular becoming finer and more elegant.
