This gem lies in the heart of Chianti, in Castelnuovo Berardenga. Giovanna Morganti is the owner and winemaker of the Le Boncie winery and has been familiar with wine since childhood. Her father, at that time one of the most famous oenologists in the country, initiated her into the secrets of grape juice at an early age. She was able to expand her valuable knowledge after her oenology studies within the framework of a research project. She examined more than 300 autochthonous Tuscan grape varieties and varietal variants for their suitability for viticulture. In her own vineyards, she relies on the classic grape varieties of the region, as they produce the best results on her soils. It is no coincidence that Giovanna and her Chianti enjoy an excellent, almost legendary reputation among connoisseurs and gourmets worldwide. Some even describe her wines as the essence of Tuscany.
