Wine Information

The idea of an everyday wine far removed from the mainstream. Roesler, St. Laurent, and Syrah from the Steinthal vineyard. After hand-picking, the Roesler was pressed as a whole grape. Fermentation and aging took place in 500-liter tonneaux. The Syrah dates from 2017 to 2022 with fermentation on the grapes. Fermentation and aging took place in 500-liter tonneaux made of acacia and oak. The St. Laurent dates from 2017 to 2021. Solera system in 500-liter barrels and stainless steel. Bottling took place in March 2023 with 30 mg total sulfur, 3.11 pH, and 0.8 grams of residual sugar.

Colour

Transparent, bright ruby red. Rosé in the style of a Claret

Nose

This rosé from the solera appears juicy and delicious even on the nose. The wine resembles a mixture of red and dark berries, cherry clafouti with almond slivers, a very subtle use of wood, and a hint of lavender.

Palate

The delicious impression is intensified on the palate. The wine is obviously not a classic rosé, which is already evident from the colour. It is a light red wine, but at the same time it appears intense. The amount of tannin is light here. The pink solera appears juicy and sensual with plenty of fresh red berry and cherry fruit, subtle yeast notes, and a silky texture including yeast. You’ll want to let this wine glide gently over your tongue in large sips, succumbing to its charm again and again – until the drinkable, subtly crisp and fresh finish.
