Wine Information

The Bourgogne Aligoté comes from a 0.25-hectare plot in Meursault at the foot of the hill. The average age of the vines is 14 years. They grow on deep, clayey soils on a limestone base. Fermentation took place in fermenters, and aging in barriques lasted eight to ten months.

Colour

: Light straw yellow.

Nose

The 2021 Aligoté reflects the vintage with its freshness and its lemony and slightly grassy notes. The wine is reminiscent of Granny Smith, limequat, and grass with crushed lime and fresh herbs.

Palate

On the palate, the Aligoté is powerful and fresh, with a blend of steely, firm acidity and a creamy texture, fine minerality, light extract, and substance. The finish offers a piquant note reminiscent of lime peel and some fennel greens and seeds.
