Description
Product description for Heinrich naked orange NV (bio)
Color
Slightly cloudy salmon pink with orange to red reflections.
Nose
Mandarin, orange, grapefruit, and blood orange provide a tart-sweet fruity interplay. These fruits present themselves in great variety. Juice, zest, skin, and all of this candied, freshly cut, and dried. The orange blossom also provides plenty of bright moments. Added to this are fresh rosehip and red fruit teas and rooibos. Mint and parsley add an invigorating touch. Anise and fennel become more noticeable with a little more temperasure.
Palate
The Naked Orange from Heike and Gernot Heinrich thrives on freshness and lightness. It is by no means dominated by mash, but rather kissed by it. All of the attributes of the nose are very well presented. However, it seems significantly less influenced by the initially dominant citrus fruits. Red fruits, however, make a beautiful appearance in teas, including rooibos, fresh raspberry, and red currant. A subtle bitterness underlines the fruit in a most pleasant way. The subtle herbal aftertaste provides a refreshing aftertaste.
