Elisabetta Foradori led her Trentino estate to the top of the wine world and has now handed it over to her son Emilio, who describes the work at the winery in his own words: “Our knowledge of nature’s rhythms and cycles has intensified through observation over time: each season brings something new, teaches us daily, and gives us new insights. We have learned to listen in order to grasp the subtleties of nature’s change and to protect the true, place-based character of the grape. We nurture creativity in our agrarian practices; every morning we wake up with the awareness that we are free to shape our work according to the unfolding of nature. Surrounded by mountains, we cultivate Teroldego and Pinot Grigio grapes on the flood plain of Campo Rotaliano, while Nosiola and Manzoni Bianco are grown on the dolomite and clay hills of Cognola (Trento).”
