Description
Product description for Flo Busch Petite Nymphe AOC 2024 (bio)
Wine Information
This rosé is a blend of Carignan, Grenache, and Syrah. The Grenache Noir comes from a vineyard with vines that are around 30 to 40 years old. The vineyard is characterized by limestone gravel and large river pebbles with a high quartz content. Syrah and Carignan come from a vineyard with a mixture of yellow and blue limestone marl and sandstone, pebbles, and fossils. After hand-picking, the grapes were pressed and fermented spontaneously. Aging took place in tanks for eight months.
Color
Intense salmon color.
Nose
The 2024 Petite Nymphe is once again a pleasure to drink. Even on the nose, you can tell that Flo Busch is focusing on freshness. Everything appears ripe yet crisp, with notes of cranberries, red currants, and barberries, apples, pomelo, and rhubarb, herbs, and lemon peel.
Palate
On the palate, the wine combines these fresh aspects with a silky, creamy texture that lends it a very charming appearance. The wine has become more elegant than in recent years, but retains its crisp core, its piquant notes with a pleasantly fresh, bitter aspect, and a hint of tannin. This appears very balanced.
