In the heart of Corsica, around the village of Morosaglia, lie the vineyards of Domaine Vico, planted with autochthonous grape varieties. The nearby mountains, whose peaks are often covered in snow, provide the desired coolness in the hot summer. Therefore, these wines combine continental freshness and tautness with Mediterranean ripeness in a unique way. Sandstone and blue slate soils provide a precise minerality in the wines, which winemakers Francois Acquaviva and Jean-Marc and Manu Venturi skillfully bring out. They have managed to express the best in this challenging, barren terroir with great success.
