Colour

Muted garnet red with distinct violet reflections, almost colour-tight to the rim.

Nose

This 2020 Châteuneuf du Pape Rouge Clos des Papes is a revelation in its aroma: prune, raspberry, blackberry, and cassis accompanied by violet, mint, and sandalwood. With some oxygen contact, cocoa, black olives, and licorice join in. A beguiling, opulent red beauty in liquid form.

Palate

On the tongue, it is silky, juicy, and animated with fantastic fruit sweetness. It practically runs over the tongue, tannins and acidity beautifully polished and harmonious. The perfect wine to accompany dishes with sweet accents and spice. If possible, decant before drinking and enjoy from a bulbous glass.
