Description
Under the name of Dufour, a real family business has developed in Landreville in the Aube Département. Ten years ago, Charles Dufour offered long-aged champagnes from his father Robert Dufour alongside his own bottlings. Then he also vinified champagnes on behalf of his mother Françoise Martinot, who put her vineyards at his disposal for this purpose. After many different experiments, Charles dediced to concentrate on his Bulles de Comptoir cuvée and the Bistrøtages of Françoise Martinot. Now, however, the champagnes of Charles’ sister, Julie Dufour, have been added to the range. She also owns parcels around Landreville, where she settled in 2012 after years in Paris and trained as a winemaker. Her first champagnes, Binôme and Cléobuline, have just been released.
