Wine Information

The grapes come from the historic Valpolicella Classico zones of Marano and Fumane and grow on limestone. They were fermented with wild yeasts.

Colour

Deep, dark cherry red, with minimal violet highlights towards the rim.

Nose

The 2018 Ravazzol Amarone Classico displays smoky aromas, truffles, a hint of lovage, with graphite and licorice. With a little oxygen, fruity aromas of rowanberry, sloe, and blackberry emerge. A complex wine, beautifully aged and very charming.

Palate

Sweet, dense, and juicy, it rolls off the tongue. It flatters the palate and has a stimulating quality thanks to its fresh acidity; the fine-grained and balanced tannin structure perfectly rounds off this wonderful drinking experience. It is in a state of wonderful drinking pleasure and should be enjoyed chilled with aromatic and intense dishes.
