The 2022 Morey-Saint-Denis En la Rue de Vergy has turned out very well indeed, mingling notes of cassis, sweet cherries and vine smoke with hints of peony and spice in an inviting bouquet. Medium to full-bodied, lively and unusually concentrated, with excellent depth and cut, it’s worth seeking out.
