Wine Information
For this wine from the Petit Aigle Négoce range, Boris Champy uses Ecocert-certified Chardonnay from south-facing vineyards with limestone, pebbles, and clay. Boris Champy pressed the whole grapes directly after hand-picking and fermented them spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. The wine was aged 100% in neutral oak barrels on the lees for 11 months.

Boris Champy’s Bourgogne Blanc 2023 is open and inviting, with notes of white and yellow peaches, green pears, and lemon cream, blended with hints of rock flour, almonds, and graphite.
Palate
On the palate, the wine is lively, fresh, and juicy, with a blend of yellow and white fruits, a good dose of acidity, and a fine texture with a hint of tannin. The finish is slightly salty, slightly spicy, and chalky. An uncomplicated, agile Burgundy from a good house.
