Marian Hen\u00df:This Tempranillo struts its stuff with extreme elegance. Cool minerality spreads across the palate. The fruit is full and rich. The aromas of the nose are perfectly recognizable. Very fine-grained tannins lend structure and tension to the wine. Tempranillo’s ability to serve as the basis for great red wines has been proven time and again. This chalky purity, cool elegance, perfect minerality, and fine tannins combine to create a symbiosis that seems perfectly suited to the extroverted and gallant appearance of this wine. A real treat. <\/p>\n

The Tempranillo comes from the over 80-year-old Nogal de la Valera plot, located 800 meters above sea level. Just 350 bottles of this rare wine, which was aged for 19 months in the finest French barriques, will be produced. <\/p>\n

Some dark chocolate, coffee, and graphite also appear. Animal notes of some leather and roasted aromas from the wooden barrel, which are reflected in coconut notes, resonate. This subtle hint of coconut is reminiscent of great, classic Tempranillos\u2014just in a contemporary interpretation. <\/p>\n
