The base wine is entirely from 2020. The destemmed grapes macerated for two days before pressing. After spontaneous fermentation of the base wine, no malolactic fermentation took place. The base wine was aged in stainless steel tanks. Tirage took place in May 2021. The bottles of this champagne matured under cork in the cellar and were disgorged \u00e0 la vol\u00e9e, or by hand, in December 2024 at 4 grams. The Sp\u00e9cial Club is a special bottling for the Club Tr\u00e9sors de Champagne winegrowers&#8217; association, founded in 1971 and the oldest in Champagne. <\/p>\n<h5>Colour<\/h5>\n<p> Orange-red with a distinct inner glow and fine mousse after the first vigorous effervescence. <\/p>\n<h5>Nose<\/h5>\n<p> The Sp\u00e9cial Club 2020 is a wonderfully fragrant, inviting ros\u00e9 champagne that is both deep and intense, yet possesses the lightness and aromatics of a fluffy strawberry cake with a touch of vanilla cream. Added to this are notes of cranberries and blood oranges, mint, and verbena. <\/p>\n<h5>Palate<\/h5>\n<p> On the palate, the champagne showcases the full class of its terroir. The Grand Cru is much drier and, if you will, more serious than the slightly playful, sensual, and fruity nose. The Special Club presents itself as intense, punchy, and powerful, yet balanced between fruit, minerality, acidity, and the 4 grams of dosage.
