Information about the sparkling wine<\/h5>\n

The Pinot Noir grapes were harvested early. In combination with the calcareous soils of the Isteiner Kirchberg, this resulted in a sparkling wine base wine with crisp, refreshing acidity. Half of the first fermentation took place in barriques with multiple openings, the other half in stainless steel. The tirage bottling took place in July 2022. After at least 34 months on the lees, the sparkling wine was disgorged in March 2025 and given a small dosage of 2 g\/l.<\/p>\n

Color\/Appearance<\/h5>\n

Bright golden yellow\/lively and broadly scattered perlage.<\/p>\n

Nose<\/h5>\n

The 2021 Pinot Extra Brut displays vineyard peach, bright red fruits, nutty hints, tree bark, noble mushrooms, distinct saffron, and intense mineral and chalky notes, as well as herbal notes. Its nose is already complex yet minerally pointed.<\/p>\n

Palate<\/h5>\n

On the tongue, it shines with nutty, yeasty notes, juicy and charming fruit, and invigorating carbonation, which is wonderfully integrated into its juicy character. The perfect aperitif, with its salty note, is extremely intoxicating and a perfect complement to savory delicacies. A very nice addition to the exciting range!<\/p>\n
