Dark purple, slightly cloudy, almost colour-tight right to the rim. <\/p>\n

Nose<\/h5>\n

The 2019 Sgarzon presents itself wild and earthy; it needs plenty of air to unfold its charm. Its berry fruit appears masculine and delicately tart, reminiscent of sloe, rowanberry, and elderberry wood, accompanied by beetroot, ivy, and boxwood. Its aromatic spectrum appears interwoven, and it is a great pleasure to approach it sensorially. <\/p>\n

Palate<\/h5>\n

On the palate, its youthful acidity and fine tannin structure make it even more challenging and youthful. Its dark berry fruit blends clearly with the earthy aromas of the nose, a fine mineral note, and delicate saltiness, which, combined with a sour cherry note that now emerges, stimulates the drinking flow. Similar to the Morei, this wine is a pleasure to savour over several days to follow its exciting development. At the moment, it’s a true diamond in the rough. If you want to enjoy it now, be sure to decant it and serve it slightly chilled in a sufficiently large glass.<\/p>\n

The 2016 Teroldego Morei Cilindrica is dark and inward, with masses of crushed black cherries, autumnal spices and wet slate forming its alluring bouquet. It\u2019s silky-smooth yet cool-toned in feel, staining the palate with a concentration of dark red fruits, as a salty flourish and rosy inner florals collect toward the close. The 2016 leaves the palate classically dry, with sweet tannins and hints of licorice that linger on and on. What an absolutely gorgeous expression of Morei. This limited release of the Morei spends an extra year on a Cilindrica Amphora.
