The wine comes from the single vineyard Les Saucours. The parcel is located south of Savigny-l\u00e8s-Beaune on the road to Beaune at medium altitude, facing east. With its eight-year-old Chardonnay vines, it covers 0.6 hectares and was planted with a vine density of 10,000 vines per hectare. The yield is around 35 hl\/ha. The soil is characterized by clay and loam on limestone (Marnes blanches). The wine was fermented in foudres and tonneaux, and aged in used barriques and tonneaux for 15 to 18 months on the fine lees. The wine was bottled without the addition of sulfur. <\/p>\n

The white Savigny from the Climat Les Saucours is a delicate yet intense wine that opens with a slight reduction. It then takes on a increasingly creamy and silky character with notes of yellow pome and stone fruit, clover and verbena, ripe lemons, and a hint of patisserie. <\/p>\n

Palate<\/h5>\n

On the palate, Les Saucours is juicy, with delicate yellow fruit accompanied by an inviting yeasty sweetness. Its texture and acidity are pleasantly elegant, mouthwatering in its minerality and salinity, and at the same time pleasantly slender, almost delicate, despite its remarkable inner density.<\/p>\n
