Steffen Mugler is a quintessential Palatinate native. Talkative and sociable, uncomplicated, cheerful, and always in a good mood. He has a strong connection to his homeland and the Palatinate landscape. He comes from a renowned winery in the Mittelhaardt region, but has found his wine-making home with his wife Daniela in Maikammer. Since 2002, the two have run the “Manfred Schädler” winery in Maikammer and cultivate its vineyards. They have carefully modernized the business and converted to biodynamic viticulture. This is noticeable. The wines become more expressive, complex, and vibrant every year.
