Die Lage ist auch als Mazzon bekannt und beinhaltet vier Hektar. Das Plateau befindet sich auf 400 bis 450 M N.N. und eine einer s\u00fcdliche Exposition. K\u00fchle Winde sorgen permanent f\u00fcr Durchl\u00fcftung und Abk\u00fchlung. Mason di Mason ist aus 100% Blauburgunder gekeltert. Blauburgunder ist ein Wort im alpinen Raum f\u00fcr Sp\u00e4tburgunder oder Pinot Noir. Die Parzellen werden einzeln gelesen und vinifiziert. Maischeg\u00e4rung erfolgt in Holzbottichen mit nat\u00fcrlichen Hefen. Eine dreiw\u00f6chige Mazeration, unterst\u00fctzt von t\u00e4glich zweifacher Pigeage wird gerfolgt im Ausbau in Barrique-F\u00e4ssern f\u00fcr zw\u00f6lf Monate. Der Anteil an neuen F\u00e4ssern liegt bei ungef\u00e4hrt 50%. Abstich von der Hefe und Verschnitt de rbesten F\u00e4sser erfolgt nach dieser einj\u00e4hrigen Reifezeit. Mason di Mason beinhaltet nu die besten F\u00e4sser aus der Selektion der besten Parzellen. <\/p>\n

Nase<\/h5>\n

Mason di Mason aus 2018 zeigt reichlich erdige Noten in der Nase. Feuchter Waldboden, nasser Kalkstein, ein wenig Moss. Etherische Tannennadeln und Baumrinde schlagen in die gleiche Kerbe. Roter Pfeffer, Wacholder und Zimt schlie\u00dfen sich dem an. Holunder, Wildkirschen, Preiselbeeren und Erdbeeren sind in der Frucht klar zu erkennen, aber dominieren die Nase keineswegs. Liebst\u00f6ckl, frische Gartenkr\u00e4uter und etwas Salbei sorgen f\u00fcr Kr\u00e4uterw\u00fcrze. Etwas Zigarrenkiste und ganz dezent verbirgt sich eine Nuance von Rauch im Hintergrund dieser dunklen und spannenden Nase. <\/p>\n

Gaumen<\/h5>\n

Der Antrunk \u00e4hnelt dem Biss in eine Hand voll Sauerkirschen. Saftig ohne Ende. Hohe Intensit\u00e4t und eine knackige S\u00e4ure sorgen f\u00fcr einen sehr guten ersten Eindruck des Blauburgunders. Entgegen der dunklen, w\u00fcrzigen Nase zeigt er sich am Gaumen voller Finesse, Eleganz und mit viel Rasse. Scharf wie eine Rasierklinge f\u00e4hrt die S\u00e4ure \u00fcber die Frucht. Das ist total animierend und fordernd. Hohe Adstringenz fordert gro\u00dfe Schlucke.<\/p>\n

Der Manincor 2018 Alto Adige Pinot Nero Mason di Mason, ein milder und k\u00fchler Jahrgang, entfaltet einen tiefen und reichen Charakter mit Noten von dunklen Fr\u00fcchten, wilden Pflaumen und schwarzen Johannisbeeren. Auf diese fruchtigen Noten folgen leichte Gew\u00fcrz- und Rauchnoten mit Ankl\u00e4ngen von blauen Bl\u00fcten, Rosen und Torfmoos. Der Wein deckt das gesamte Pinot-Nero-Spektrum ab, bietet aber gleichzeitig eine leicht reiche und dunkle Pers\u00f6nlichkeit. Die Auflage betrug 4.000 Flaschen.
