In der Nase zeigt sich der 2014er Riesling Brand aufgrund seiner Jugend noch deutlich verschlossen, er ben\u00f6tigt ausreichend Luft um sich zu \u00f6ffnen. Nach l\u00e4ngerer \u00d6ffnung bet\u00f6rt er dann mit gelber Frucht, die an Aprikose, kandierte Zitronenzeste, gezuckerte Grapefruit, getrocknete Bl\u00fcten und Heu erinnert. \u00c4therische Ankl\u00e4nge von Ingwer und Zitronenmelisse sind ebenfalls mit von der Partie. Eingefasst sind alle diese ersten Eindr\u00fccke in ein straffes Korsett von markanter Mineralit\u00e4t.<\/p>\n

Gaumen<\/h5>\n

Am Gaumen pr\u00e4sentiert sich der 2014er Riesling Brand als Paradebeispiel f\u00fcr den Eindruck von s\u00fc\u00df-salzig- sauer, mit diesen pr\u00e4gnanten Eindr\u00fccken attackiert er unsere Zunge auf angenehmste Weise. Besonders pr\u00e4sent ist in seinem jugendlichen Stadium die Zitrusfrucht der Nase, die sich mit anregender Frische auf der Zunge ausdr\u00fcckt. Ein wundersch\u00f6ner kraftvoller Tropfen, der ein paar Jahre Kellerreife verdient auch wenn er sich in seinem jugendlichen Stadium schon \u00e4u\u00dferst appetitlich pr\u00e4sentiert.<\/p>\n

Humbrechts Riesling Brand 2014 wurde im August 2016 mit dem h\u00f6chsten Alkoholgehalt der Rieslinge des Jahrgangs 2014 (moderate 12,65 % Alkohol) abgef\u00fcllt und er\u00f6ffnet mit einem tiefen, sehr reinen und steinig-feuersteinigen Bouquet reifer und konzentrierter Riesling-Aromen. Vollmundig und rund mit feiner, feink\u00f6rniger S\u00e4ure und anhaltendem Salzgehalt ist dieser Brand sehr elegant und raffiniert. Seidig strukturiert, pikant und hochelegant \u2013 ein wundersch\u00f6ner und kraftvoller, aber dennoch raffinierter Brand mit viel Ausdruck. Dieser Riesling stammt von Granitb\u00f6den und wurde mit 8,9 g Restzucker und einem Gesamts\u00e4uregehalt von 7,5 g pro Liter abgef\u00fcllt, bei einem f\u00fcr Granitb\u00f6den erstaunlichen pH-Wert von 3,0 (nach der alkoholischen und malolaktischen G\u00e4rung).

Helles Mittelgelb. Bodenbetonte Aromen von Limette, Ananas, Mandarine, balsamischen Nuancen und zersto\u00dfenem Stein. Dicht, vollmundig und saftig, mit konzentrierten Aromen von Zitronenschale, Pfirsich und Limettenlik\u00f6r. Eine Steigerung der Intensit\u00e4t im Vergleich zu allen anderen 2014er Rieslingen von Zind-Humbrecht (mit Ausnahme des Rangen Clos Saint-Urbain). Der Abgang ist sehr lang und salzig und hinterl\u00e4sst einen starken Eindruck von Extrakt und cremiger S\u00fc\u00dfe. Schmeckt \u00fcppiger und s\u00fc\u00dfer als der Rangen, was die Werte (9 g\/l Restzucker und 7,5 g\/l Gesamts\u00e4ure im Vergleich zu 5,5 g\/l Restzucker und 7 g\/l Gesamts\u00e4ure des Rangen; beide haben den gleichen pH-Wert von 3) zu best\u00e4tigen scheinen.
