Die Lage befindet sich im Nordosten der Appellation auf rosa Granit mit geringer Tiefe. Die Rebst\u00f6cke des Gamay Noir \u00e0 Jus Blanc, wie er vollst\u00e4ndig hei\u00dft, sind rund 40 Jahre alt und erbringen 30 hl\/ha. Diese Lage befindet sich noch in Umstellung auf zertifiziert biologische Bewirtschaftung, und dieser Wein wird zum ersten Mal ausgebaut. Nach Handlese und Sortierung wurden ganze Trauben eingesetzt. Unbesch\u00e4digte Beeren wurden auf den Grund des Betoncuves gelegt, angequetschte dar\u00fcber, sodass der Gamay rund 15 Tage lang eine Mac\u00e9ration semi-carbonique durchlaufen konnte. Der Wein wurde danach f\u00fcr rund elf Monate im Beton-Cuve ausgebaut. <\/p>\n<h5>Farbe<\/h5>\n<p> recht dichtes Granatrot <\/p>\n<h5>Nase<\/h5>\n<p> Der erstmals gef\u00fcllte Ch\u00e2teau Gaillard ist ein vergleichsweise dunkler und dichter Beaujolais, dessen aromatischer Auftakt von S\u00fc\u00dfholz, Trockenholz und etwas warmem Waldboden, Zimt und Vanille sowie von reifen s\u00fc\u00dfen Kirschen und dunklen Beeren bestimmt wird. <\/p>\n<h5>Gaumen<\/h5>\n<p> Am Gaumen ist das ein Schmeichler, ein Charmeur mit seidigen Tanninen und einer gleichfalls seidigen, aber lebendigen S\u00e4ure, mit viel dunkler, s\u00fc\u00df wirkender Frucht und einer angenehmen k\u00fchlen mineralischen Ader. Das ist ein kraftvoller, fast m\u00e4chtiger Morgon, der aber hervorragend balanciert ist. Er wirkt fleischig und muskul\u00f6s, aber auch elegant.
